REMUNERATION

Transparency is at the core of our client-based approach. At the beginning of the cooperation, we do provide the client with information on the anticipated scope of the legal services and the estimated overall expenses required for a complete resolution of the case. We do attach a detailed list of provided services to each invoice to provide the client with a thorough insight.

The remuneration for our legal services is determined in accordance with the applicable legislation upon agreement with the client based on the characteristics and the complexity of each individual matter. We do provide the legal services on the following basis:

  • contractual remuneration, the amount of which is agreed upon in the contract between the attorney and the client and is usually stated as an hourly fee or may take a form of a lump sum (the latter in less complex matters or in the matters occurring on a regular basis - i.e. drafting of a documentation with respect to the sale of real estate, establishment of a business etc.). If preferred by the client, especially in case of a long-term cooperation on a regular basis, it is possible to arrange for a regular (usually monthly) payment for an agreed duration of the provision of legal services at a reduced rate,
  • non-contractual remuneration the amount of which is stipulated by the decree of the Ministry of Justice no. 177/1996 Sb., on the remuneration of attorneys for the provision of legal services (attorney tariff), as amended

For the achievement of maximum security and mutual trust the client relations are based on a contract with precisely defined rights of the client and the obligations and responsibility of our office.
